This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs on behalf of East Orange NJ VA Medical Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) sole source action to; Name of Contractor: NETA Scientific Street Address: 4206 Sylon Blvd City, State, Zip: Hainesport, NJ 08036 The objective of this action is the procurement of LI-COR Pearl 1-Year Extended Warranty. Market research has concluded LI-COR Pearl 1-Year Extended Warranty sold via NETA Scientific Inc is the only manufacturer to meet the compatibility standardization requirements of East Orange VAMC. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels.
