67--NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - MEMORY CAMERA

ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.5 to Vision Research , Inc., 100 Dey Road, Wayne, NJ 07470-4633. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures --- only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Vision Research is the only known source capable of meeting the Governments requirements due to the unique capability to provide support and service for the Phantom V710 Monochrome 16GB Memory Camera. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than Wednesday, 23 December 11:00 A.M., CST. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely of determing whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
