The Department of Defense is seeking two complete Deployable Mobile Military Operations on Urban Terrain kits to establish a realistic urban operations training area within the Joint Multinational Readiness Center Area of Operations. These shoot house facade complexes must be capable of containing 5.56mm and 7.62mm ball ammunition and be constructed from durable materials that can withstand harsh German winter conditions. To ensure compatibility and quality, the government has specified the 36 by 16 foot facility manufactured by Range Systems as the brand name or equal base standard, and all units must be able to connect to existing Range System facilities. The estimated value of this contract is 500,000 dollars. A critical technical requirement is that vulcanized rubber cannot be used as a prime component due to weather concerns. The resulting facilities will support rotational live fire maneuver training by providing a deployable, weather-resistant, and easily maintainable urban environment for military personnel.
