Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Natick Contracting Division, 1 Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army-Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis with Cyberware Laboratory Inc 2110 Del Monte Ave, Monterey, CA 93940, for a 3d surface scanner bundle comprised of WBX-RGB whole body and PX-RGB head/face scanners, enhanced CyScan unified scan operating system, enhanced DigiSize scan visualization and analysis software with colored landmark locator toolkit, and with factory standard one (1) year extended warranties on hardware and software. Cyberware is the only manufacturer capable of providing whole-body and head/face 3d scanner bundle with a unified operating system. Cyberware is the only company qualified to update CyScan 3d scan save and merge to PLY execution and to update DigiSize software with an automated landmark marker function due to their intimate knowledge of the operating system, data capture hardware, and scan data stream output.
