The contract involves a small purchase action for the repair of one unit identified by NSN 5960-01-116-8861EW, related to the ALQ-131 system. The government intends to award this contract non-competitively to Teledyne Electronic Technologies Division Microwave Electronic Components, located in Rancho Cordova, California, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, due to the unique capabilities of this sole source and the lack of government-owned data or test equipment for repair.
