The U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, acting on behalf of the Army WARSTAR directorate, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Catherine Capone for the procurement of Lotus Domino Software License and 12 months of support services. This acquisition supports the AMCOM mission at Redstone Arsenal by maintaining PCMS mission services. The sole source justification is based on the exclusivity of ImmixTechnology as the only authorized reseller under the DoD preferred ESI contract for IBM software products, with IBM being the sole manufacturer of the Lotus Domino software. Market research indicated that alternative vendors either do not hold the preferred DoD contract or provide support quotes at significantly higher prices. The services are vital for maintaining compliant systems under AR25-1, especially after a funding lapse prevented awarding the support contract in the prior fiscal year. The government has expressed its intent to proceed with ImmixTechnology due to these unique qualifications, while still allowing interested parties to express capability or interest by a specified deadline. The contracting office is located in Natick, MA, with contact information provided for further inquiries.
