70 -- INTENT TO AWARD

The General Services Administration intends to issue a modification to a current contract to General Dynamics under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-05-JMT-0007. GSA will be awarding a modification to a schedule delivery order, for the installation of a Nortel 61C for the T1 Interface of the new SL100 switch installation at NAF Atsugi, Japan. The following equipment (see below for list ) is open market and the labor and travel is open market. The value of the open market portion of this modification is approximately $128,000. This is a notice of intent to award a modification to General Dynamics for this work in Atsugi Japan. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for NAF in Atsugi, Japan. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
