Full Description

The Mission and Installation Contracting (MICC) - Presidio of Monterey intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Transparent Language Inc., 12 Murphy Dr STE 300, Nashua, NH 03062. The award will be made sole source to Transparent Language Inc., a large business, CAGE Code: 1T9Y0. The requirement is for unlimited distribution and use of Rapid Rote 5.0 software to be provided to The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). This software will be used to aid students in learning their specific language and share user uploaded content. This action will result in a base year and four option years. Previous contract was awarded to Transparent Language Inc. who possesses the requisite technical personnel, knowledge and experience to provide the software within the required timeframe. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 511210 and the size standard is $25.0 million. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 3:00 PM, Pacific Daylight Time, June 7, 2013. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may express their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
