70--National Cemetery Administration Kiosk IDIQ

This is not a Notice of Solicitation. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for the purchase of kiosk enclosures to include delivery, installation, warranty, maintenance, and support for kiosks located at VA National Cemetery sites. The RFP will be available on FedBizOpps approximately July 6, 2012 under the proposed solicitation number of VA118A-12-R-0160. Using the source selection procedures described in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 15.3), an award is contemplated to the responsible Offeror whose proposal is responsive to the solicitation requirements and is determined to be the best value to VA. VA contemplates an award of a single firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with an ordering period of five years. The solicitation will be made publicly available via the internet at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of interested parties to regularly monitor https://www.fbo.gov for updates. The government will not provide hard copies of the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website and downloading the solicitation, its attachments, and any amendments from the internet site identified above when issued. All information regarding the procurement is provided herein, and no additional information shall be provided. Therefore, it is not necessary to contact VA until a solicitation has been released. Correspondence from interested parties may result in a delay of solicitation release. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED, OR REVISED AT ANY TIME.
