Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services and items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18. The solicitation number is NSR-07-526 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is a small business set aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 443120. REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall provide a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Qty. No.1 CryptoStor Tape 700 Manufacturer: Neo Scale Manufacturer No. CrptoStor Tape 700 Family Model: SC702- 2 Port LVD SCSI 320. Award of an order under this solicitation will be made to the timely received technically acceptable brand name or equal, lowest priced quotation that is submitted. Please state on your quote the earliest possible delivery date and any discounts offered. All quotes are due September 21, 2007 by 12:00 p.m. Noon, EST. All Offerors shall allow extra time for internal mail distribution. NRC is a secure facility with perimeter access control and NRC personnel are only available to receive hand-carried proposals between 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Please include the solicitation number on the envelope containing your organization's proposal. Fax submissions from Offerors will not be accepted. RFQ NSR-07-526 will be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov.) The FedBizOpps website provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps website. Hard copies of the solicitation document and its related documents will not be available. Because this RFQ will be posted on this website, interested parties are instructed NOT to call, send letters, e-mails or faxes requesting the RFQ.
