This is not a request for proposal or a request for quote. There is no solicitation document available. This is notice of intent of the Iowa Air National Guard (IANG) at the 132D Wing to award a sole source contract with Advantor Systems Corporation, for components, installation and training of an Advantor Intrusion Detection System. This is for a turn-key system. Though most of the components are available on Advantor's GSA schedule, this will be acquired through Advantor Systems Corporation via open market contract. It is in the best interest of the Government to acquire the Advantor Intrusion Detection system through Advantor Systems Corporation in order to maintain interoperability and continuity of the intrusion detection systems on base. Also, the Government will benefit by ensuring consistent terms and conditions, maintenance and administrative cost savings by having all systems maintained through a single vendor. The strategies are in the best interest of the Federal Government and the price is fair and reasonable. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1). This procurement is being conducted using FAR Part 12 procedures. Please reply no later than 23 March, 2015 at 11:59 a.m. Central Time.
