70--Sole Source Notice of Intent

The ERDC Contracting Office plans to issue a sole source award for the maintenance renewal of previously acquired SAP Enterprise Software Products under contract number W912DR-11-P-0076 with Four, LLC, located in Centreville, Virginia. The government currently owns the software and requires ongoing maintenance to ensure continuous use and support. This procurement will be conducted as a commercial item acquisition under FAR Part 12. While the contract is intended to be a sole source award, interested organizations that are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) may submit their capabilities or qualifications in writing by 1700 hours Central Time on December 28, 2011. These submissions will help determine whether the procurement should be conducted competitively, but the government retains full discretion over the decision to proceed on a sole source basis. No formal Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued based on this Notice of Intent, and oral communications are not acceptable for responses. The contract falls under NAICS code 423430 and is managed by the W6KD USACE Eit Svcs office within the Department of Defense, with the office located in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The principal focus is to secure continued maintenance support to maintain operational readiness of the existing SAP Enterprise Software products.
