Full Description

Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center Yuma, U.S Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) Arizona intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with Cal-Bay Systems Inc, located at 3070 Kerner Blvd, Ste B, San Rafael CA 94901-5419. This contract will be for specialized system maintenance, engineering support, systems improvements, and training unique to an existing Integrated Ballistic Data System (IBDS) previously purchased by the Government under contract number W9124R-05-D-0204. Cal-Bay Systems Inc is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the existing IBDS system. Additionally, both the U.S. Army and Cal-Bay Systems Inc are co-owners of the software package that controls and operates the current IBDS, and the information is proprietary. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet these requirements by Friday, 25 June 2010 12:00PM MST.
