Full Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE TO ELECTO-OPTICAL IMAGING INC. FOR VIDEO TRACKER FIRMWARE MODULE AT ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to negotiate solely as prescribed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(i), with Electro-Optical Imaging Inc., 4300 Fortune Pl STE C, West Melbourne, FL 32904-1527. The contractor shall provide sixteen (16) video tracker firmware modules cards for Electro-Optical Imaging Video Tracker System. The firmware associated with maintaining the equipment is proprietary to the manufacturer. Electro-Optical is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Electro-Optical Imaging is the sole manufacturer and sole distributor of this firmware. The following supplies are required by Aberdeen Test Center (ATC), located at APG, MD. CLIN 0001: Module, Tracker Firmware Provide sixteen (16) video tracker firmware module cards. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or solicitation. This is a special notice to notify the general public of the Government's intensions that the Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), sole source contract to Electro-Optical Imaging Inc., (Cage Code: 1WB55). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511 and the size standard is 750 employees. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), August 4, 2014, to the point of contact listed below.
