Chevron U.S.A. Inc. is proposing to rework an existing well, specifically the McKittrick Fee 3915-I (API 0403030801), located in the Cymric Oil Field within Kern County, California. The project involves salvage perforating within the existing completion zone to continue oil and gas resource development. This operation will not increase the depth of the well and will utilize approximately 750 barrels of metered, reclaimed produced water per well. The scope of work includes minor alterations to the wellbore and casing, with all activities performed on existing well pads to ensure negligible ground disturbance and minimal to no vegetation removal. The California Department of Conservation, Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) is the approving agency for this permit.
