Crimson Resource Management Corp is seeking regulatory permit approval from the California Department of Conservation, Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) to rework one existing steamflood injector well, identified as API 0403050965 Section 35 AT-T2i, located in the Lost Hills Oil Field of Kern County. The project is designed to continue oil and gas resource development within a densely developed and active field. The scope of work includes remedial, maintenance, conversion, and abandonment activities, as well as the reconstruction of the casing and wellbore, perforating, and the installation or removal of downhole production or injection equipment. This project is classified as a regulatory permit approval rather than a procurement contract and has been granted a Notice of Exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The exemption is based on Class 1, 2, and 4 categorical exemptions, as the work involves the operation, repair, and minor alteration of existing facilities with negligible permanent effects on the surrounding environment.
