The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), through its Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH), is seeking a contractor to assist in the promotion, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool (HECAT). The contract involves providing additional guidance and marketing materials to disseminate the HECAT among state education agencies and local school districts, developing supplemental resources to support both the traditional and online versions of the HECAT, and creating a model training design tailored for health education teacher programs in institutions of higher education. Furthermore, the contractor will be responsible for outlining a detailed plan to revise the HECAT to align with forthcoming updates to the National Health Education Standards, including recommendations for such revisions. This initiative supports the CDC’s broader mission to offer science-based technical assistance aimed at strengthening coordinated school health programs nationwide. Interested parties must submit their offers by August 15, 2005, to the CDC’s Procurements and Grants Office via email or USPS.
