Acoustic Receiver/Datalogger System (Brand Name or Equal: Lotek WHS4350L)
This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the Government to award a contract.
The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking information from vendors capable of providing an acoustic receiver/datalogger system for fish monitoring within the Central Valley Project (CVP). This requirement is Lotek WHS4350L or equal.
The Government intends to acquire twelve (12) acoustic receiver/datalogger units for remote deployment locations requiring long-duration autonomous operation.
Minimum Salient Characteristics (Equal Products Must Meet):
Any equal product must be fully compatible with the Government’s existing Lotek acoustic telemetry system, including Lotek software, tags/transmitters, data formats, and associated infrastructure, without requiring modification or replacement of existing equipment or software.
Minimum requirements include:
• Battery life: ≥200 days (4 lithium D-cells)
• Weight: ~1.7 kg
• Size: ~60 mm x 585 mm
• Depth rating: ≥400 m
• Data storage: ≥8 GB removable microSD
• Operating temperature: 0°C to 50°C
• Operating frequency: 416.7 kHz
• BPSK decoding compatible with JSATS AMT
• 31-bit coding (7-bit Barker, 16-bit ID, 8-bit CRC)
• Data output: time, date, tag ID, RSSI, diagnostics
