The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a sole-source purchase order to YSI Inc. for upgrading 15 H-522 Data Control Platforms (DCPs) with new YSIT GOES Satellite Radios to the updated H-522P-V2 specification. This procurement falls under NAICS code 334513 and aims to have the upgraded platforms delivered within six months of the order date. The scope includes providing all parts, labor, special tools, and safety equipment necessary for the retrofit. The contractor will receive batches of 3 to 4 DCPs monthly for upgrades and repairs, with a corresponding delivery schedule extending from one to five months after award. The completed units must be transported back to the Bureau of Reclamation at the contractor’s expense. The upgraded radios require replacement of the existing transmitters, which are only compatible with YSI-T satellite radios, making YSI Inc. uniquely capable of performing these upgrades.
