The 2d Contracting Squadon at Barksdale AFB LA intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price contract to Unify Inc. under Simplified Aquisition Procedures and Other than Full and open competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Market research has been conducted and it has been determined that this is a sole source requirement authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Additionally, unauthorized third party maintenance providers are prohibited from providing these services to Unify's direct customers without Unify's prior written authorization and therefore competition is not expected. The anticipated award date is after 30 May 2018. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. No contract award will be made on the basis of this notice.
