SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR Laundry Turn-about Carts Background: The Alexandria VA Health Care System is requiring new turn-about carts for the transition from a VA Laundry into a Laundry Distribution Center. The new AVAHCS Laundry Distribution Center will be shipping soiled linen to GCVAHCS in Biloxi Mississippi. Client linen for AVAHCS, including 5 Community Based Primary Care clinics, Shreveport VAMC, Fort Polk Army Hospital, Leesville, La., Camp Beauregard Training Center, Pineville, La., National Guard sleeping bags Pineville, La., Camp Cook Training Center, Tioga, La. These extra-large turn-about carts are necessary to utilize the space in the 18 wheeler truck, (taller carts hold more linen). Project Scope: Sixty-six (66) turn-about carts (33 in red and 33 in blue).
