Solicitation SPRPA121RW208, issued by the Department of Defense through DLA Aviation at Philadelphia, is for the procurement of one unit of NSN 6K-8145-010100206-EE, identified by TDP VER 012 and REF NR 293E001. The delivery terms are FOB Origin. This item is classified as flight critical, and due to the specialized engineering skills, unique design capabilities, and proprietary technical data required for its manufacture or repair, it requires formal engineering source approval by the design control activity to ensure quality standards are maintained. Because the available technical data is insufficient to support full and open competition, only previously approved sources were solicited. Any new source seeking award must submit comprehensive documentation as outlined in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochures. Failure to provide the required data or proof of a pending request will result in the offer not being considered for award. The procurement is managed as a negotiated solicitation and rated order under DPAS to meet essential Fleet support needs.
