This contract solicitation is for the procurement of 90,000 units of the Decoration Set for the Bronze Star Medal (NSN 8455-00-269-5749), reflecting a recent amendment that increased the quantity from the original 25,000 units. The contract includes two 100% mandatory option quantities with deliveries scheduled to begin 90 days after the award, reduced from the initial 150-day timeline, and spans six delivery increments to two separate destinations. First article submissions are required as part of the acceptance criteria. This procurement is set aside exclusively for small businesses under the Small Business Administration’s total small business set-aside provisions. Solicitations and amendments will be issued electronically only through the DLA Procurement Gateway, requiring vendors to be registered to access and download documents, with notifications managed via email, specifically for the DSCP Clothing & Textiles commodity center. Compliance with applicable defense acquisition regulations, particularly regarding the restriction on foreign content under the Berry Amendment, mandates that all clothing and textile items must be produced or processed in the United States or its territories unless authorized exceptions apply. Technical assistance for accessing solicitation documents is provided, and the solicitation’s closing date remains March 4, 2003.
