THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service, Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery in Arizona intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract award on a non-competitive basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) for specialized fish feed diet with Nelson & Son's, 712 E. 2400 N., Tooele, Utah 84074. Market research was conducted and it was determined there is only one responsible source for the specialized fish feed diet. The award is to provide specialized fish feed developed for a particular species of fish. The type of feed is the Bozeman diet developed for razorback suckers. NAICS Code is 311119 and Size standard is 500. All interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the specialized fish feed within 5 days of this publication via e-mail to the Contract Specialist below. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals.
