The government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price type purchase order for various bulkhead components in accordance with FAR part 13, for the rehabilitation project onboard the USS Vicksburg (CG-69). The supplies are required for the upgrading and modernization of living spaces onboard. These items will be delivered to:936L DDJONESHAB, COMNAVSURFLANT HMSC, DD Jones Warehouse #5, 2626 Indian River Road, Chesapeake, VA 23325-2655, FOB: Destination. Solicitation number N00189-08-T-0147 will be posted on 31 January, 2008. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 332322. Contractors are reminded to submit a technical description of items to be used to complete task in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 (b)(4). All responsible sources must submit pricing and past performance data by 3:00 p.m. on 07 February, 2008. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award (FAR 52.212-1 (g)).
