Full Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Memphis District intends to award a sole source contract to Bernsten International, Inc. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver the following: 100 Each - Carsonite 72 Posts (Orange) with Corps Decal (CRM307204) 600 4 Each -Aluminum Rod with Flo Thread (MHDRR4) 200 3 Each -TS Rod with Flo Thread (MTSDR3) 200 Each - Domed Caps for Aluminum Rods (HDR15) 250 Each - Point HDR12 TOP Rod (HDR12) 250 Each - Top Security Insert with Thread Installed (MTSD-TI) 300 Each - DEEP1C The orange 6-foot read marker posts, with out custom design decals affixed, are currently being used throughout the entire Memphis District. Bernsten International has the Corp decal currently on file from previous orders. It is believed that items from other vendors are not interchangeable with the existing Bernsten products we have within the District. The Government is unaware of another source that can provide post with the same quality, stability, durability, dependability and /or Corps logo as the Carsonite product sold by Bernsten International. It is the Governments belief that the above requirement can only be met by Bernsten International, Inc. This is not a formal solicitation, however, business concerns that respond to this notice must furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirement above. Business concerns demonstrating the capability to accomplish the requirement shall supply pertinent information (to include product specifications and price) in sufficient detail to demonstrate their ability to perform. Information furnished shall include enough material to perform a proper evaluation of each item listed above. Respondents will not be notified of evaluation results. Response to this sole sources notice must be received via email, fax, mail or delivery by 2 April 2009 no later than 11:00 AM local time at 167 North Main Street B202, Memphis, TN 38103. Quotes should be marked with solicitation number W912EQ-09-Q-0020 addressed to Jackie Primer, Contract Specialist, Phone +1 (555) 000-0000, Fax +1 (555) 000-0000, email: contact@example.gov. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award will not be eligible for award.
