This announcement is NOT A SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST (SIR) or REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Furthermore, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to extend the services of a single-source contract to Wyle Information Systems (Wyle) to continue to provide Voice Telecommunications Services. This extension is pursuant to AMS clause 3.2.4-34, Option to Extend Services (April 1996), and is in accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) paragraph 3.2.2.4. The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to award a non-competitive 60-day extension to Wyle under contract #DTFAWA-09-C-00002. Wyle has supported the FAA in maintaining and managing administrative Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems at various sites. This award will allow the FAA to maintain continuity and consistency in its services while transitioning to the FAA Administrative Voice Enterprise Services (FAVES) contract. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If your firm believes it can fulfill the requirement, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the services outlined above and the FAA will evaluate that information accordingly. All responses to this announcement must be directed to Kathy St. Hill, Contracting Officer by 10:00 A.M., Eastern Time, Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Responses may be submitted via email at Kathy.Sthill@faa.gov. All interested parties are advised the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred associated with any response to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with submissions related to this announcement will be solely at the interested party's expense.
