The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Laboratory (NVSL) in Ames, IA intends to issue a sole source award using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures for the HEY (Harrold's Egg Yolk) media in plastic flasks to Becton Dickinson Diagnostic Systems in Sparks, MD. The proposed action is to permit USDA to acquire 838 packages of HEY media in plastic flasks. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Numbered Note 22 applies.
