THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). The purpose of this Special Notice is to identify vendors interested in supporting the 148th Fighter Wing Safety Day. The 148FW is conducting Wing Safety Day on Friday 16 May 2014. The 148FW is looking for vendors to setup informational displays and provide safety information to its members. Each vendor would be responsible for setting up safety related displays and providing safety information to wing members. Vendors benefit by displaying safety related wares, for purchase by members at a later date. No government funds will be used to reimburse vendors for any costs associated with this event. This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation to bid. No award will be made from this RFI and the Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice. There will be no reimbursement for any display related costs. Responses: All interested vendors shall contact the 148FW Contracting Office, via e-mail, to 148fw.msc@ang.af.mil . For access to the base, a form must be completed and a background check will be conducted prior to entry.
