This is a Notice of Intent to award a delivery order. This acquisition is based on a Limited Sources Justification and Approval (J&A) to purchase Microsoft Licenses, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, Microsoft Systems Center Enterprise Management Suite, and Microsoft Systems Operations Manager Console Software. The Microsoft products is the only product that provides an enterprise vehicle and this will standardize core Microsoft licenses and a consistent global AirForce wide enterprise network. The Microsoft product will facilitate network security, user mobility, and disciplined configuration management. The Air Force has a mandatory requirement to use the Microsoft Enterprise License Agreement (MSELA) awarded to Dell, Inc. to purchase Microsoft Licenses.
