W91ZLK-11-T-0261 This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground Installation Contracting Division 4118 Susquehanna Avenue Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013, has a requirement to procure the following items: Item: 4 each, WEIBEL Tracking Radar Upgrades The intended delivery date for the item(s) is August 10th, 2011. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to WEIBEL DOPPLER RADAR, Weibel Scientific. This firm is the sole developer/manufacturer /distributor of the product no other source will stratify the Governments requirement. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511 and the Business Size Standard is 700. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, August 9th, 2011. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
