Full Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract for the items listed to Environmental Container Systems, Inc. 3560 Rogue River Hwy, Grants Pass OR 97527. This firm is the sole developer/manufacturer /distributor of the product. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 326199 and the Business Size Standard is 500. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
