99--PROBE ASSEMBLY

The Department of Defense, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia, plans to sole source the purchase of one Probe Assembly, identified by NSN 1RM 0000 LLF02N313 H5 and part number 06317-01102-042, from Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, the original equipment manufacturer and the only known supplier capable of supporting this part. The Government does not hold the rights or data required to procure this item from other sources, making Sikorsky the only responsible source. Although this notice is not a solicitation for competitive proposals, any interested parties may submit capability statements or quotations for consideration within 35 days; however, the Government intends to negotiate solely with Sikorsky under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302. This procurement will follow FAR Part 15 procedures rather than the Acquisition of Commercial Items regulations under FAR Part 12 and is not set aside for small businesses. Source approval is required for firms not already authorized to manufacture the material, but the acquisition will not be delayed to wait for such approvals. Electronic solicitation documents will be posted to NECO, with no telephone requests or hard copies provided. Interested organizations are encouraged to submit their qualifications by email to the designated point of contact, Anna Kiessling, by the response deadline of April 13, 2026.
