The contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment to perform cemetery maintenance services (which includes Grounds Maintenance Services; turf maintenance, plant and tree maintenance, mowing, weed treatment, removal of leaves and debris, sweeping or blowing off of roads and walkways, trash removal; snow and ice removal and headstone and marker setting and raise and realign and Bump & Run), Headstone Cleaning and Maintenance (5,000 headstones cleaned twice yearly), Sunken Grave Repair, Grave Excavation and Backfilling (Casket), Grave Excavation and Backfilling (Cremain), Placement and Removal of Flags (Grave Flags), Placement and Removal of Flags (50 Avenue flags) (twice Yearly), and Cleaning and Maintenance of Public Restrooms and shop area at Wilmington National Cemetery, 2011 Market Street, Wilmington, NC 28403. Contract period will consist of a base period from May 1, 2013 (or date of contract award), through September 30, 2013, with up to four (4) one-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2017. All work shall be performed in accordance with The Specifications/Description/Statement of Work. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. (SDVOSB) The NAICS Code is 561730. Size standard of $7.0 million is applicable. Performance and/or Payment bonding may be required at the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
