Full Description

UPDATED: The A-10 Contracting Office (538 ASCG/PK), Hill AFB Utah, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Carleton Life Support Systems for: 2 sets of Onboard Oxygen Generating System B-Kits, 5 each initial spares of A-10 REOS Bottle Assembly, 12 month repair of A-10 fielded OBOGS, and two 6-month options for the repair. SCOPE: The contractor shall provide repair services for all fielded A-10 On-Board Oxygen Generation System (OBOGS) and shall provide OBOGS spares. BACKGROUND: The OBOGS developed by Cobham Life Support Systems of Davenport, Iowa, was installed on twenty-two A-10 aircraft at Spangdahlem, Germany in June 2009. Two additional systems were delivered as spares. No organic repair facilities are yet available necessitating follow on contractor repair support. CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall return to serviceable condition all unserviceable line replaceable units and shall replace non-reparable components as required.
