Full Description

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), NIH, intends to negotiate with the EMMES Corporation for a modification of its contract No. N01-AI-15448, which was awarded as a total small business set-aside, to double its data coordination and clinical trial support activities for the surge in bio-defense-related research initiatives. This increased volume of clinical trials to be conducted by the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases requires an increase in staffing to meet the immediate and intensified clinical trial demands of the Institute. Authority: 41 USC 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Inherent duplication of cost to the Government and unacceptable delays in completing the project make competition unfeasible for this requirement. See Numbered Note 22. No collect calls will be accepted.
