AMENDMENT TO NICHD SOLICITATION, RFP NO: NIH-NICHD-IDD-2015-7 A Repository of Mouse Models for Cytogenetic Disorders This amendment is issued to all potential Offerors. THE FOLLOWING WILL BE ADDED TO SECTION G - CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION DATA: ARTICLE G.__. REIMBURSEMENT PROCEDURES FOR SALE OF RESEARCH SUBSTANCES AND LIVING ORGANISMS a. During the course of this contract, the Contracting Officer or his/her designated representative may notify the Contractor to make available to individuals and entities, for biomedical and behavioral research, research substances and living organisms. Such substances and organisms shall be made available under the terms and conditions (including payment for them) specified below and in SECTION C - DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/WORK STATEMENT of this contract. b. The Contractor shall bill recipients directly for the materials provided, including shipping and handling costs; however, the Contractor may be directed by the Contracting Officer or his/her designated representative to make such materials available free of charge. c. The charges for these materials shall be based upon the current price list specified in SECTION C - DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/WORK STATEMENT of this contract. Unless the Contractor is directed to make the materials available free of charge, under no circumstances shall the Contractor bill prices other than those included in the price list. The Government, without the concurrence of the Contractor, may revise the price of the materials being made available. d. The Contractor shall keep an accurate account of all payments received from recipients from the sale of research substances and living organisms separate from other fiscal aspects of the contract and shall credit those payments to the Government by [TO BE DETERMINED] during the billing period in which they are received. e. The Contractor shall submit to the Government a Monthly Summary of Sales, which is listed as an Attachment in SECTION J of this contract. The Contractor shall submit a copy of this Attachment each month with its invoice. The administration of the proceeds from the sale research substances and living organisms shall be subject to the terms of this contract, including FAR Clause 52.215-2, Audit and Records-Negotiation, and its applicable Alternates. PLEASE NOTE THE CUT OFF PERIOD FOR QUESTIONS FOR THIS ISSUE IS TUESDAY, JUNE 30th 2015 AT 2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME.
