A -- Sensor Web System for Decontamination

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with SensorWare Systems, Inc., Arcadia, CA 91007-7158. The requirement will be a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order. The contractor has licensed the Sensor Web technology and will inspect, qualify, and train DHS employees for use during the decontamination of building from bio-threat agents. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement in accordance with Numbered Note 22. Numbered Note 22 applies except all responses to this sole source announcement must be received within 15 days (in lieu of 45 days) from the date of this announcement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be received no later than August 19, 2007, 4 p.m. EST.
