This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order, and is not a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is 6.302-1. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division intends to issue a firm fixed price contract to NEXGEN COMPOSITES, LLC. KETTERING, OH, 45420-1493, to provide design and fabricate composite/Vacuum Insulated Panels. On February 3, 2015, Romitech identifying Nexgen as subcontractor and acquired all the data rights related to contract W911QY-12-C-0069. Action is required based on the results of development testing conducted in support of the Joint Services Expeditionary Refrigerated Container System (JSERCS) efforts. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to complete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Please contact Maribel A.
