ABIA FUEL STORAGE REPAIR

This turnkey project requires the complete removal and disposal of two 10,000-gallon above-ground storage tanks and associated piping, pumps, valves, and system components, followed by the installation of two new 15,000-gallon above-ground fuel storage tanks, including all necessary appurtenances such as supports, gauges, vents, catwalks, stairs, and a new dispensing system with nozzles, hoses, and controls. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment, ensure compliance with stringent Department of Defense standards including MIL-STD-161H, MIL-STD-101C, and FED-STD-595 for fuel identification, color coding, and marking, and adhere to strict safety protocols due to the active aviation environment. All work must be performed between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on weekdays with minimal disruption to ongoing operations, and the successful bidder must provide comprehensive closeout deliverables including as-built drawings, testing, commissioning, training, and final documentation. Bids are due by 11:00 a.m. CST on August 12, 2026, and responses must be submitted in three volumes with strict formatting requirements including a table of contents, clear bookmarks, and mandatory attachments such as the Pricing Schedule, Uniform General Conditions, HUB Subcontracting Plan, and Direct Deposit Authorization Form. Attendance at one of two mandatory site visits on July 17, 2026, is required for eligibility, and failure to attend will result in disqualification.
