AI Contract Overview
The Department of Defense, through the Air Force Test Center, is seeking to procure the relocation of a Video Monitoring System and Access Control infrastructure on a sole-source basis from Condortech Services Inc., based on statutory authority under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and RFO 6.103-1. This decision follows market research that identified three potential vendors, but any change in contractor would invalidate existing manufacturer warranties and software updates critical to the system’s operational integrity. The scope of work includes relocating monitors, peripherals, desktop computers, power supplies, wiring, and all necessary components and supplies to support the transition without disruption. The solicitation, issued under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul framework as a combined synopsis and solicitation, does not require a formal written document and is open for quotes until August 6, 2026, at 10 AM PDT. While the procurement is intended to be non-competitive, responsible parties may still submit capability statements or quotations for consideration, though the government retains full discretion to proceed without competition. The acquisition falls under NAICS code 561621 and PSC code N063, with applicable FAR provisions 52.212-1, 52.212-3, and 52.212-4 governing the terms and conditions for commercial products and services. The work is to be performed at Edwards Air Force Base, California, with primary contact information provided for inquiries.
