The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) has a requirement for the provision of services to process requests received under the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act (ATIP) in the National Capital Region (NCR). These services are required to maintain adherence with legislated timelines during periods of peak volume as well as to support the ATIP Office during periods where staff are required to support Information Management and Technology Directorate (IMTD) initiatives and priorities.
On an as and when requested basis, through the issuance of Task Authorizations (TA), the contractor will provide the services of a senior Access to information and privacy (ATIP) consultant to provide advice related to ATIP requests and process ATIP requests as per the Access to information act and the Privacy act.
The contractor’s resource will provide advice and recommendations to the CNSC, conduct reviews and consultations, prepare documents in order to support the CNSC ATIP group.
