Notice of Proposed Procurement
This requirement is for Employment and Social Development Canada.
Objective:
The objective of this work is to design, format and complete an accessibility review of the Chief Accessibility Officer (CAO) reports to the Minister responsible for the Accessible Canada Act (ACA), in French and English, in accessible PDF format. The CAO’s annual report must be presented to the Minister every year by December 31, and will be published after it has been tabled by the Minister in Parliament. The report will be shared publicly on the website of the Office of the Chief Accessibility Officer, in a variety of accessible formats.
The CAO annual report is expected to be between 30 and 40 pages, and other special, ad hoc reports are expected to be between 5 and 10 pages. It is estimated that the CAO could have 1 to 2 special ad hoc reports per year.
The contractor will prepare designs and layouts of both, the English and French reports. These must be compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Additionally, the contractor will provide custom illustrations/graphics components for different sections, such as (but not limited to) map of Canada, or diagram with short text about important partner roles and responsibilities in accessibility.
The work will be performed on the Contractor’s premises. The Contractor will provide project updates by email. Meetings will be held virtually as required.
