This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Funds for this acquisition are not currently available. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. This acquisition is unrestricted. //Schedule of items: This requirement is for Accordian Doors and Install. //CLIN 0001: 1 x Accordian Door. 9 Standard and 1 Closure, 1142mm wide x 1070mm deep. Accoustic Rating 39dB, 0 Fire Rating, Light Oak Melamine HJN312, Weight 950kg. //CLIN 0002: 1 x Accordian Door. 5 Standard and 1 Closure, 1233mm wide x 670mm deep. Accoustic Rating 39dB, 0 Fire Rating, Mahogany Melamine H48, Weight 551kg. //CLIN 0003: Shipping and Installation to RAF Alconbury, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 4DA, UK. All items to be delivered within 30 days after receipt of order. If unable to utilize existing track, please include pricing and information on replacement track and other fixture componenets. If contractor is unable to use existing track, they will be responsible for disposal of existing track. //NOTE: Please provide details on timescales for ordering/lead time, fitting of track and installation of doors. //SITE VISIT - A SITE VISIT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR 17 September 2009 @ 9:00 A.M.
