By means of the RFP, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking proposals from bidders for Acquisition and classification of airborne LiDAR transect data in the northern forests of Canada. The transects have been divided between four (4) acquisition areas (Figure 2, Table 1). It is the responsibility of the vendor to bid on individual acquisition areas(s) (i.e. each of the four acquisition areas should be costed individually), and bids may be made on any number of areas. A vendor is not required to capture all four areas and may submit a proposal identifying a subset of areas to be flown.
