1. Definition of the requirement
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of the Natural Resources Canada (NRC) has a requirement for the supply and delivery of one fixed wing Drone with training and support. Equipment must be delivered on or before March 31, 2023.
2 General Requirements
1.Instrument must be an ultra-light weight fixed wing drone (i.e. Total weight of aircraft and sensors ready for flight not to exceed 7.5 KG) 2.Drone must be able to deliver PPK and RTK positioning standards. 3.Drone resolution must be minimum 24 megapixel for optical mapping camera. 4.Drone must have ability to house and acquire imagery using 2 swapable payloads at once (using industry standard mount points). 5.When the Drone is in dual acquisition mode the quality of the optical mapping sensor can not be degraded from when the Drone is in single acquisition mode. 6.Drone must be able to integrate with a high resolution thermal mapping camera. (Minimum resolution should be 640 x 512 px) 7.Drone must have the capability to fly for up to 90 min, covering up to 500 hectares at an ideal speed to maintain mapping resolution requirements (1.5 cm +/-1.5 cm). 8.Drone should able to fly and land in maximum safe windspeeds of up to 25 km/hr. 9.Average mapping resolution of 1.5 cm and no greater than 3 cm for 500 hectare flight surveys. 10.Vender is able to supply spare parts and training for the instrument provided (ie. wings, body, propellors, swapable payloads)
3. Period of the proposed contract or delivery date
All the equipment must be delivered on or before March 31, 2023. The period of the Contract is from date of Contract Award to March 31, 2023 inclusive.
4. Cost estimate of the proposed contract
The estimated value of the contract, is $69,000 (GST/HST extra).
