The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center is seeking a contractor to custom install Acrovyn by Design wall panels within the Pediatric Behavioral Health inpatient unit. The government already owns the wall panels, and the contractor is responsible for the installation process. Key safety requirements mandate that all tools and materials be attended to at all times and removed from the unit daily. Additionally, all materials must be shipped and stored onsite at the NIH, where the government will provide space for one job box. Quotations must be submitted in three separate volumes covering technical approach, past performance, and pricing. The evaluation process assigns 40 points to the technical approach, specifically focusing on the installation method regarding existing handrails and safety in an active pediatric behavioral health environment, and 60 points to past performance. Price is also a determining factor in the final award decision. This procurement is conducted as a request for quotation under simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items.
