AI Contract Overview
This contract is for the procurement of one electro-pneumatic actuator, identified by NSN 4810-01-450-3787, with a delivery requirement of 20 days after receipt of order. Manufacturing must adhere to drawing number 6405260 Rev C AY98, including specific material substitutions and standards such as NASM and SAE-AMS. Because the item may require specialized casting or forging and specific tooling that the government does not possess, contractors are directed to the DLA Casting and Forging Assistance Request process for sourcing support. Compliance requirements are stringent, including CMMC Level 2 certification, adherence to Covered Defense Information protocols, and strict export controls under ITAR and EAR regulations. The contract prohibits the use of Class I ozone depleting chemicals and requires technical inspection and final acceptance to take place at the actual manufacturing facility. All technical data is restricted to approved contractors with US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and completed export-control training.
