Full Description

Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to issue a sole source award to Adapt Laser Systems, LLC, 2615 Homles St., Kansas City MO 64108 for the following services: the contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, software material and parts, quality control, transportation, inspection manuals, the Original Equipment Manufactured (OEM) specifications, Personal Protective (PP) clothing, PP equipment, prescription safety glasses, and any incidentals necessary to replace the Adapt Laser 500Q fiber optic cable and clean the cooling circuits. Work will be performed on location at Tinker AFB OK. The contractor shall insure all services and parts provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined herein and conform to standard industry practices, manufacturer's equipment specifications and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The proposed period of performance is 01 Sep 2008 through 30 Oct 2008. The estimated award date is 01 Sep 2008. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333411 with a size standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals will be considered within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The government does not own the data rights or the processes for repair of these scopes. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
