AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7M1-27-U-0185 is a fixed-price request for quote issued by the DLA Weapons Support Maritime Supply Chain for the procurement of 121 connector adapters, identified by NSN 5935-01-189-1888. This is a critical application item that must comply with MIL-PRF-55339/33A and MIL-PRF-55339C specifications. The item is designated as a Qualified Products List (QPL) or Qualified Manufacturers List (QML) product, meaning the supplier must meet specific qualification requirements for connector assemblies and electrical contacts. Delivery is required within 109 days, with shipping terms set as FOB Origin and both inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The contract mandates strict adherence to technical and quality standards, including DLA packaging requirements under MIL-STD-2073-1E and marking standards per MIL-STD-129. Environmental and safety restrictions prohibit the intentional addition of mercury and the use of Class I ozone-depleting substances in manufacturing. The government may award a unilateral Simplified Indefinite-Delivery Contract (SIDC) for a one-year period based on price and technical performance. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system for invoicing and compliance with various FAR and DFARS clauses regarding cybersecurity, domestic material restrictions such as the Buy American Act, and the prohibition of additive manufacturing processes unless specifically authorized.
